Matesti Boarding School
On August 30, 2019, The Buy a Brick Foundation, along with members of the local community, joined together to undertake our largest project to date; a Boarding Secondary School. In addition to the boarding structure, a kitchen and dining hall will be constructed. The students who currently attend this school are sleeping on the floors of their classrooms and cooking their meals outside over open fires. Once this project is complete, it will comfortably house 100 students who have made the choice to leave their families in order to continue their education. As of this date, the foundation of the boarding block has been dug and cement footings have been poured and the kitchen and dining block are almost complete.
The Matetsi Boarding School project is a huge undertaking, and we expect it to take a couple of years to fully complete. We started this project as we have with all our other projects, by simply relying on God. Please consider joining us as we continue to help villages raise up the leaders of tomorrow.
